Cypress, Texas, is located just 20 miles northwest of Houston off Highway 290 on Spring-Cypress Road. Cypress is situated close to Cypress Creek and Little Cypress Creek watershed. Situated right off Highway 290 and close to Highway 249 there is easy access to different areas in and around Houston. Cypress has grown into a large suburb of Houston in the last 10 years in an unincorporated area of Harris County.

There are many wooded areas in Cypress, with many older homes built in the late 1800's on large wooded lots with of beautiful plants and a variety of gorgeous trees. There are also newer homes as well as subdivisions are being built and developed as this is a constant growing town. This town has been growing by an unimaginable amount since the year 2000.

One of the reasons Cypress keeps growing is Location. Cypress offers close access to smaller and/or older towns, with many Historical Sites, Parks (both small and large), Lakes, Creeks and Streams. Cypress is close to Austin, Texas as well as Houston, Tomball and Spring. Convenient to so many areas in Houston, such as the Galleria Shopping Mall, the largest Mall in Houston and events in Downtown, Houston, it is not surprising Cypress keeps growing each year.



The Cypress area consists of many Golf Courses and out door areas. There are also many Parks to go canoeing, hiking or biking on gorgeous park like trails, horseback riding as well as fishing, golfing, tennis, and many other activities to join in on. And, don't forget, High School sports are a really big event here in Cypress.
